Self-care includes regular physical activity, a healthy diet, regular sleep, and relaxation exercises. Support groups may help. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine.
See a doctor immediately if:
- Thinking about suicide
- Unable to work or complete activities of daily living
Make an appointment to see doctor if:
- Unable to work or maintain relationships
- Alcohol or substance abuse
- Feeling sad and slowed down
