Why buy salad dressing when this delicious citrus vinaigrette can be made in minutes?

Serves 8

Experiment with other citrus juices in concentrated form in this vinaigrette. Look for lemon, lime, blood orange or grapefruit.


In a blender, mix all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately. Place leftovers in a container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before use.


  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
