Skin rash

A short-term outbreak of bumpy, scaly or itchy patches of skin. It may also cause blisters or raised welts.
Avoid harsh or perfumed soaps, detergents and lotions, as well as anything you know triggers allergies. Over-the-counter medicated creams or ointments may help.
See a healthcare professional right away if the rash:
- Starts suddenly.
- Spreads quickly.
- Covers most of the body.
See a healthcare professional if the rash:
- Doesn't go away.
- Is painful.
- Comes with a fever.
- Leaks yellow or green fluid.
- Has blisters.
