Adrenoleukodystrophy
June 13, 2017
Adrenoleukodystrophy is a genetic condition that damages the membrane surrounding the brain nerve cells. The condition disrupts the breakdown of very-long-chain fatty acids, causes them to build up in the brain, nervous system, and adrenal gland.
