Remoulade is a mayonnaise-based sauce that pairs well with seafood. You can add citrus, dill, capers or other seasonings to create different flavors.

Remoulade pairs well with seafood. You can add citrus (as in this recipe), chipotle peppers, dill, capers, Old Bay Seasoning or other spices to create different flavors.

To make this plant based, use vegan mayonnaise instead of light mayonnaise.


In a small mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients until evenly incorporated. Serve immediately. Refrigerate any leftovers.


  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • Pinch of salt
