Self-care options include eating fewer calories, making healthy food choices, getting more exercise and keeping track of weight.
See a healthcare professional if:
- A serious health condition related to weight, including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure or severe sleep apnea.
- Continuing to gain weight even with lowering calories and exercising more.
