A tumorlike collection of fluid under the skin.
Seroma is a tumorlike collection of fluid under the skin. It may happen as a complication of surgery, beneath an incision site.
Symptoms may appear a few days after the surgery. They include swelling and pain. Fluid may leak from the incision.
Treatments may include draining the fluid and taking antibiotics if the site becomes infected.
