Paraneoplastic syndrome
June 13, 2017
Paraneoplastic syndrome involves symptoms that occur in some people with cancer.
Nerve symptoms, such as movement difficulties, are most often reported. But other systems, such as hormone (endocrine), skin (dermatologic), blood (hematologic) and joints (rheumatologic), can be affected.
Treatment most often focuses on the underlying cancer.
