Neuralgia
June 13, 2017
Conditions associated with neuralgia include shingles, trigeminal neuralgia, and diabetes.
Besides pain, numbness, tingling, or other unpleasant sensations along the path of the nerve may sometimes occur.
Treatment is often difficult and prolonged. Options include narcotics (opioids), anticonvulsants, or antidepressants; physical therapy; and other holistic approaches.
