Encephalopathy

Encephalopathy is a term for any brain disease that alters brain function or structure. Causes include infection, tumor, and stroke.
Declining ability to reason and concentrate, memory loss, personality change, seizures, and twitching are common signs and symptoms.
Treatment such as medications may help manage some symptoms.
